The FH&P Lawyers Urban Race is not just a day of fun, excitement, energy and challenge. It’s a celebration of community spirit. An opportunity for people to pull together in support of a great cause – The Kelowna Community Food Bank.
Your first challenge begins the day that you and your team-mate sign-up: your challenge to raise pledges from your friends, family and colleagues.
To help you fund raise, you’ll be given your team will be given its very own online ‘Giving Page’ – where pledges can be conveniently made online. Share it with your friends and family on Facebook. Email it to your colleagues. Track your total in real time.
Registering for the FH&P Lawyers Urban Race costs just $25/person ($50 for each two-person team). Each team is set a minimum fund raising target of $250 – so just $125 / person.
On the day of the race you’ll walk, run and transit-hop around the city, racing against the other teams to complete 15-20 fun challenges and get back to the finish line!
After the race you’ll be able to grab food and drink at the wrap-up party and find out who’s won the great prizes on offer. Maybe you’ll take home the race winner’s prize? Maybe you’ll pick up the fund raising prize? Or maybe you’ll strike-it-lucky and win one of the special challenge prizes.
Wherever and whenever you finish, you’ll be supporting a great cause and a day to remember is guaranteed.
The FH&P Lawyers Urban Race is open to everyone (although under 18s need to be accompanied by and adult).
